A breadcrumb for WordPress

Displaying a breadcrumb on your site: this facilitates live of your visitors.

The Breadcrumb NavXT extension maintained by John Havlik can display a configurable breadcrumb on WordPress sites. You can see it working on this site and also on FestiVocal.

For your internet visitors this adds a real improvement when browsing the site. Its installation and configuration are very simple. If you are a “developer” you can integrate the breadcrumb in the design of your theme, otherwise use the “widget” included in package.

For those that english language is a barrier … administration interface for this extension is fully translated into french by myself. The “fr_FR localizations” files are included in the package.

If, using it, you find some of these translations not very explicit or incorrect please let me know for improvement.

On the road… to internationalization!

This is not the content of this site merits a worldwide distribution, but by curiosity, I was looking for a stylish and effective way to make a Wordpress based site, fully multilingual.

I think I found my happiness!

After several tests,  I found the wpml extension  which delights me!

At the moment I’m exploring!

In the top left there is a language selector. My translations are very approximate and maybe make english and spanish users  laugh a lot !

But whatever … “Technically” I think there is something very successful in this extension.

I continue to explore it, and I’ll tell you more later
